Throughout the year we participate in local and city-wide events 

and training exercises.

You’ve seen us at our  table at the FLATBUSH FROLIC and the AVENUE M STREET FAIR distributing  Emergency Preparedness Information. 

                   This is the work of every CERT Team in New York City.   

             In every emergency situation INFORMATION is CRITICAL!                                                 Your CERT Team is making this a priority! 

Volunteering to man the Five-Borough Bike Tour in May.  Participation in National Night Out in August together with NYPD.  Helping to staff the Hurricane Evacuation Shelter at PS 217 during Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irene.  Volunteering to help the New York Area RECOVER from Hurricane/Tropical Storm Sandy.
