REQUIRED FOR FUTURE NYCEM EXERCISES

To participate in future NYCEM exercises, interested members must complete IS 100c, a free, online FEMA course.  This course will improve CERT members’ knowledge of ICS structure and can be found here: https://training.fema.gov/is/courseoverview.aspx?code=IS-100.c

When you take the course you will also need to obtain a FEMA Student Identification (SID) Number.

You can then use this ID to take and receive credit for additional FEMA Training!

The certificate of completion should be emailed to CERT staff at certtraining@oem.nyc.gov

and your team leadership.

Going forward, all CERT members attending basic training will be required to complete this training.
