New York City Emergency Management (NYCEM) conducts
CERT Training Classes several times each year.
TRAINING CLASSES consist of 10 weekly, 3 hour, evening sessions (6:30 to 9:30 PM). You will learn things like; light search and rescue, fire suppression, traffic control, triage, and emergency medical. You will also learn about personal disaster preparedness, how to build a “GO Bag”, and what you need to “Shelter in Place”.
